Greenfield Accredited Certifiers commenced operations in July 1995, in the advent of the de-regulation of building approvals and inspections within NSW. This allowed Private Accredited Certifiers to approve technical issues associated with development.

Merit-based assessments of Development Application enable either Council or an Accredited Certifier to issue a Construction Certificate in conjunction with the compliance of the Building Code of Australia.

The business was initially formed to check and certify fire services for commercial & industrial premises & developments for Architects & Developers. A combination of a rapidly expanding building industry & highly motivated Directors, gave the immediate opportunity to diversify and expand the Company. Additional services were developed to accommodate the ever-increasing clientele base.

Recently, the business restructured in into highly efficient and tightly managed business units which are independently owned and operated. The restructure has resulted in Management having a more "hands on" approach and a direct line of communication with our clients.

Greenfield Accredited Certifiers was set up to specifically cater for the needs of the residential building market. However, we have the ability to approve anything from a garden patio or pool right through to multi-storey developments.

The majority of our employees have years of experience within the Building Industry, both the Private and Council sectors. We are fully equipped with all Council Codes, Policies and Australian Standards which contribute to a fast and accurate service.
